Beautiful Chaos is an addictive book as one continues to read on. This book holds so much new details that does not relate to the first or the second book. For example, there's the underground tunnel connecting from Ethan's house to the Far Keep's door. In addition, Ethan's wayward strength gave us readers a whole new look on wayward. Although Beautiful Chaos did confuse me on some parts (minor parts), as long as one reads it properly and slowly, everything is understandable.
Personally, i really love the third book in the Caster Chronicles. I have only read the first and the second book so i cannot judge the entire series before i start on the fourth book. Either way, Beautiful Chaos is a really good book that gives the reader a lot of feelings while reading it.
Another side note, as the story continued into the climax, it was nearly impossible to place the book down and stop myself from reading. I would stress on how much this book should be considered into everybody's reading list but not everybody is into witches or supernatural.

Ethan Lawson Wate: Unlike the first two books in the series, Ethan really matured and grew up in the third book. He viewed each problem properly and tried his best to find the solution to it. However, it could also be because his soul is fractured so the more childish side of him was left in the other world. What Ethan did for the New Order - by sacrificing himself - at the end of the story was more than noble. He could have given up trying to save the world and spend the last days with his loved ones but he didn't. He sacrificed himself just so that his loved ones would be safe and continue to live on. Ethan might just be a wayward (or in Link's opinion, the Aquaman) and he doesn't really have any cool super powers but, Ethan is the real hero among all the characters in the book.
Lena Duchannes: Lena is more lovable or likable in Beautiful Chaos. I can see that she was also maturing now. She might still be that stubborn and jealous girlfriend of Ethan but as the story progressed and she started opening up to Liv, anyone can see Lena has matured. Unfortunately Lena can be so weak sometimes. Yes, she killed her mother but that was because her mother tried to kill her for the second time. If i were to be in Lena's shoes, i wouldn't be as traumatized as she was.

My favourite part of the story: It would be the time Ethan spent with the Lilum. I love how the Lilum is the Wheel of Fate and she can do anything dangerous to Ethan but he still dares to question her when he needs answers. Then again, Ethan is the One Who Is Two so the Lilum cannot really get rid of Ethan even if he did get on her nerves. Yet she saved John from his death when she knew that John was sacrificing himself because everybody thought he was the One Who Is Two. As much as the Lilum speaks with no emotions in her tone, she definitely doesn't want innocent people sacrificing themselves for the New Order.

My least favourite part of the story: Definitely the Snow dance. I do not understand Ridley as much as i really like Ridley. She is jealous but she doesn't want to admit it. And she believes she can only be with Link if she gained her Siren power back. Ridley is...dumb? She has a cousin, a powerful cousin that is in a relationship with a mortal. So how come she doesn't believe that her relationship with work out with Link even though she has lost her powers? I feel so sad for Link but i am glad Link did not go with Ridley's plans when he realised she gained her Siren power back.

Would i recommend the book?
If you like supernatural, pick up the Caster Chronicles. It will be worth all your time because the Caster Chronicles series is unlike any normal witch stories. Trust me on that.
